 Huddersfield Golf Club Junior Acadamy is the Perfect and Safe environment for Juniors to learn to play golf at one of the oldest and finest championship golf courses in the North of England.
We offer junior golf tuition for all standards and for all ages. As a result our junior Golf Acadamy is suitable for Juniors looking to improve their golf game or start from scratch. We combine first class junior golf tuition with our excellent practice facilities to ensure juniors can continue to improve on their natural golfing talent. Our experienced and qualified PGA professionals will teach the basic skills of the game, giving information sessions on rules and etiquette and helping them to achieve a nationally recognised handicap.
This will enable juniors to take part in competitive golf at all levels. We shall also be providing a wide range of junior golf competitions through our annual programme.
We will be running a range of coaching programmes throughout the school holidays for both members and non-members of all standards.

We welcome all non-members. This coaching programme is an opportunity for you to try golf.
At Huddersfield Golf Club we give you the chance to have 6 group coaching sessions which will include basic technique, competitions, rules and club information.
You will be coached by fully qualified professionals and use fantastic outdoor and indoor facilities.
There is a one off payment of £5 at the start of the 6 weeks.

 Silver coaching is for juniors aged between 8-16 who do not have a official handicap or have a junior handicap.
The coaching will take place in the main school holidays and you will also be eligible to play in the junior competitions to help towards your development and gaining a official handicap.
The coaching will contain technique, rules , etiquette, course management and prizes for competitions.
The coaching is free and you will be part of the academy with opportunities to move up to gold and platinum categories through the year.
You will be given a Silver Huddersfield Golf Club badge to identify your group.
Come and enjoy the outdoor and indoor facilities.

 Gold coaching is for juniors aged between 8-16 who have a official handicap between 36-22.
The coaching will take place in the main school holidays and you will also be eligible to play in the junior competitions to help towards your development and improving your official handicap.
The coaching will contain technique, rules, etiquette, course management and prizes for competitions.
The coaching is free and you will be part ofthe academy with opportunities to move up to platinum coaching through the year. You will be given a Gold Huddersfield Golf Club badge to identify your group.
Come and enjoy the outdoor and indoor facilities.

All coaching days in the main school holidays are Tuesday and Thursday at 10.00-11.30am |

This is the highest coaching level you can achieve at Huddersfield. You have to be aged 8-18 with a official handicap of 21 or less.
The coaching programme is free and will be held once a week in all the school holidays for 1½ hours which will include video swing analysis, short game coaching, course management and group competitions.
You will also have access to sports mind coach Nick North.
You can play all the junior competitions held on a Sunday and Tuesday plus all main club events.
You will be part of the junior squad which will give you the opportunity to represent the club in Junior League Matches and Union Competitions.
To gain more playing experience we will give you information on all open days in the district.
Finally you will be representing the club so we will give you free clothing with the club logo and a Platinum Huddersfield Golf Club badge. |
